Calvin D. Gray

Hi, my name is Calvin Gray, founder and president of My Will Advocacy Inc. I was born with glaucoma, cataracts, corneal scarring, and aniridia — but I’ve never let my vision stop me from living with purpose.

I work as an educator at an adult day care, teaching young adults with disabilities how to build independent, confident lives. I’m also proud to serve with the National Federation of the Blind, the Miami-Dade Chamber of Commerce, and in my community as a mentor and volunteer.

My journey hasn’t been easy, but my faith keeps me strong. One scripture that reminds me daily of God’s power is 2 Corinthians 5:7 — “For we walk by faith, not by sight.” It reminds me that true vision doesn’t come from our eyes, but from our faith and determination.

Through My Will Advocacy, I want to encourage others—especially those living with blindness or visual impairment, to believe that with faith and perseverance, independence and fulfillment are always within reach.
